Pros & Cons of sharing a Quinceanera

(English Translation from Quinceanera.com magazine)

Have you ever wondered if sharing your Quinceanera would be a good idea? Although this has been done many times, determine if it would be a good idea for both of you whether you share your celebration with a sister, friend or cousin. Here are some pros and cons that you should consider before making the final decision.

PROS

You save money. An important factor when sharing a celebration of XV Anos is that you save money, A LOT of money. Almost all expenses can be cut in half and it is easier to pay them when sharing a quinceanera. We are sure this is music to parents' ears ... ha-ha-ha.

YOU LEARN TO HAVE patience and a more open mind. The teamwork will do the dream job. You will learn and develop great skills when you work together.

YOU WILL RECEIVE DOUBLE SUPPORT from loved ones. Imagine how great it would be to get the support of all your loved ones from each family.

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY to make the party big. When celebrating such a special tradition, it's okay to go big. With double help and support, this can be fully achieved.

MAKE SPECIAL MEMORIES that parents can later share. Keep in mind that planning such a large party will be stressful, no matter what; but with a great partner with whom you can share all this, it will undoubtedly be much better!

CONS

YOU WILL NOT BE THE ONLY CENTER OF ATTENTION. Although this can be excellent for those girls who are a bit shy, it is the opposite for the celebrated ones who like to be seen, especially on that special day. Keep in mind that, either way, both will be the princesses of the day.

WHEN CHOOSING anything for the party, you should consult with the other quinceanera. You must be clear that it is not only about your party, but about the other girl as well, which means that everything must be discussed and approved. But hey, this is the perfect opportunity to learn how teamwork works.

THEY MAY END with various headaches. The things that you like or that you agree with will not always be the same things that the other party likes. Make sure you have an open mind and listen to each other so that you can make the right decisions.
